Accepting the truth in your life means you must come to accept the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. First, there comes an acceptance of the truth in your life that is causing you pain and is the source of your anger. This is the first step in the acceptance process, but it is by no means the last. It in fact represents the ultimate goal of your life. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be."

What is your highest point in life so far? What's been the lowest point in your life so far? What makes you sad? What causes you to be stressed? Do you believe in a higher power? Would you want to know the date of your death?

So yes, time exists. As to how it works, we certainly learned a lot in the past century or so, with the discovery of relativity theory in particular and the realization that time and space are inseparable aspects of the same fundamental reality, the spacetime in which we live.
