Why do cats walk in front of you?
They want your attentio. Whether they want to spend time with you so they wish you'd sit still somewhere or they just want you to give them a cat treat, cats try to get your attention by walking in front of you or rubbing on your legs and apparently trying to trip you. It's all a matter of repetition.
Keeping this in consideration, why does my cat stare at me?
As well as being a method of communication, staring is also a sign of a close bond between you and your cat, as they are unlikely to hold eye contact with someone they don't like or trust. In older cats, staring could be a sign of sight loss, so get them checked out as soon as possible. You can also ask why do cats squint their eyes at you? The main theory: it's another sign of affection. When company comes over, many cats retreat to safe spots. If you are close with your cat and squint at them, they will sometimes return the gesture. Many cat owners associate squinting not just as a sign of trust, but as a sign of love and affection.
Do cats need baths?
The National Cat Groomers of America recommends cats get a bath and blown dry every 4-6 weeks to keep their coats from getting matted or pelted. Massage a solution of 1 part cat shampoo to 5 parts water ? work from head to tail and avoid the face, ears and eyes. Can cats control their tails? Cats have control over their entire tails. While many believe that the very tips of a cat's tail are immune to feeling or control, this isn't the case. Instead, cats will even flick the end of their tail without trouble. Cats do not control their hair and only have command over their muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Also, why do cats follow you to the toilet?
Cats seem to know that when you're in the bathroom they have a captive audience. Many cats love to curl up on their person's lap on the toilet. They have your undivided attention for a certain amount of time: you're not working, or cooking, or knitting, or reading a book, or watching TV. But you are petting them. Why does my cat bite me gently? Some cats may gently nibble or bite their owners as a sign of affection. It is thought to be reminiscent of how a mother cat will groom her kittens with small bites and is more common in cats who have had litters. This is not usually a problem form of biting.
