What color smoke means fire is out?
Firefighters treat black smoke as an indicator of possible volatility within the fire. White smoke, on the other hand, tends to indicate that the fire is creating either gas or water vapor and it can be an indicator that the fire has only just started burning or is in the process of going out.

White smoke usually means coolant is getting into the combustion chambers of your vehicle.
