Why does Leo hide under the car?
In Chapter 16, Leo wanted to be near Stargirl so much that he went to her house, but when she came out, he was too nervous and crouched behind a car. They had a casual conversation and Cinnamon nibbled his ear as he hid.
Why does Dori get angry with Stargirl?
Susan explains that Dori is mad at her because she feels like Susan betrayed her true self when she got rid of Stargirl: "She just doesn't understand how important it is to be popular" (27.13). She does know that Dori will be at the front of the mob that welcomes her home, however.
